• ☐ Never heard of the store? Do the two-minute check BEFORE you pay.
• ☐ Search the store name plus "scam" or "complaint" on Google or Bing, not on Facebook.
• ☐ Price far lower than other stores for a big brand? It is probably fake.
• ☐ Look for a real phone number, a street address, and a clear return policy.
• ☐ Pay with a CREDIT CARD. Never pay a store by gift card, wire transfer, payment app or crypto.
• ☐ The lock icon does NOT prove a store is real. Scammers get the lock too.
• ☐ Keep the receipt, the website name and every email until your item arrives.
• ☐ Something went wrong? Call your credit card company, then report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
